This Sunday, February 4, 2018 we will celebrate Men’s Sunday at 8:15 & 10:45am. What does that mean you ask? Well, men will provide all aspects of this week’s Worship service – from the sermon to greeters to liturgists to acolytes. Even our guest musicians will be men (okay one man and a boy)! We invite you to be with us as Greg Clark will share a meditation entitled “God’s Healing Messengers.” Thaddeus Sampson will accompany the hymn “God of Ages”, Declan Fledderjohn will present the prelude “Pachelbel’s Canon” and Tom Washic (and Lisa Miller – not a man) will solo with the Sanctuary Choir for their anthem “He Never Failed Me Yet.” After each Worship Service the Youth will be accepting donation for the Souper Bowl of Caring which will benefit the Manna Food Pantry at Penbrook UCC.
Sunday School for all ages will be held at 9:30am. Click on the link below for the Announcements to see what topics are being studied/discussed in the three Adult classes.

Looking ahead to Ash Wednesday and Lent:
Pastor Cindy would like to invite you to Wednesday night Lenten soup suppers. 6:30pm soup will be followed by a meditation or activity at 7pm, until roughly 7:30 pm. A number of the evenings are a simple reflection that will be offered by Pastor Cindy based on the book that she is using for the Sunday themes in Lent (Open the Door: A Journey to the True Self by Joyce Rupp). She encourages you to use the book on your own for reflection, prayer, and meditation.
