This Sunday, October 29, 2017, we welcome the Rev. Claude Dencler to the pulpit at 8:15 & 10:45am. He will be preaching on the theme “The Prime Directive” based on the scripture text from Matthew 22:34-40. We also welcome the Rev. Cindy Garis, our new Interim Senior Pastor, as our liturgist. The Jubilate Ringers will be presenting ‘Praise to the Lord, the Almighty” and then “Be Thou My Vision” with violinist, Sharon Jones.
Claude and Donna, his wife, joined Colonial Park in the fall of 2016. They have been active with the church’s effort to assist Anwar and Suad as this refugee couple starts a new life in the U.S. During Claude’s 39 years of ordained ministry he served the United Church of Christ in various local, regional, national positions and as Vice President at Lancaster Theological Seminary. Claude finds great delight in time spent with children and nine grandchildren. He enjoys riding the bike trails of Central PA and revels in the preservation and promotion of the antique motor vehicle hobby. He and Donna are thankful to be part of the CPUCC faith community.

We invite you to look at what’s happening in the Worship Services and Announcements by clicking on the links below. You may also feel free to download them to your ipad or tablet and use that when you come to Worship! That’s what I do. The great thing about using a tablet for the bulletin is I can adjust the size of the text and songs for my weird vision!

What weighs you down and holds you back from being able to love God and neighbor? This Sunday at 5:00pm we will be meditating on Christ’s great commandment:
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Our souls will also be stirred by the wisdom of Hafiz, the music of Bob Marley and The Alternate Routes, and we will… enjoy some delicious Vietnamese Pho for supper following worship!
Hope you can join us on Sunday at 5pm!!
